A walking tour in Catania’s vibrant city center while sampling delicious Sicilian street food along the way.

Let me guide you through the noisy and colourful streets of the historic city centre, in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. I’ll show you some of the must-visit places in Catania, like via Crociferi (baroque street), the Elephant fountain, the ancient fish market, the Ursino Castle, and much more!
I’ll tell you the stories and the legends behind them, and I’ll let you experience Catania in the most authentic way, avoiding tourist traps, and living it like a true local.

Also, we will stop at some of the best street food stores along the way so you all can try the most authentic specialities:

Tour Itinerary

We’ll visit the area of “Via Etnea”: – Piazza Stesicoro – Via Crociferi – A Piscaria (Fish market) – Piazza Università – Piazza Duomo (St. Agatha Church and Black Elephant fountain) – Castle Ursino, and others, and several street food spots in there.

How it works

• We will meet in “Piazza Stesicoro” (Stesicoro Metro Station) – in the city center of Catania
• You will pay 100% of your participation fee, in cash only.
• We will start our walk descending “Via Etnea” through its wonderful baroque architectures, visiting also all the nearby areas and spots you cannot miss.
• We will stop at several famous street food stores during our path, and you all will taste various authentic Sicilian dishes, both: savoury and sweet.
• We will then continue our street walk until we’ll return to the starting point.
